Site Remediation
Consulting & Management
When chemical impacts to soils or groundwater are identified on a property following a Phase II/Two ESA or subsurface investigation, remediation is undertaken, if required, to restore the contaminated media, to conditions that comply with applicable standards (based on the intended land use).
AiMS Environmental’s engineers and scientists are often called upon to provide specialized services relating to contaminated sites or brownfields. Such services include consulting on remedial options and costs, peer reviews of reports by third party consultants, or expert witness services related to land disputes.
Site Remediation and Cleanup
Remediation of chemical impacts to soil and groundwater can be effected through a variety of in-situ and ex-situ techniques, including:
The preferred remedial strategy is commonly a function of multiple factors, including specific contaminant chemistry and concentrations, hydrogeological conditions, site constraints, budget, and treatment timeline requirements.
